I ordered a hula hoop!!!

Today I registered us on Wedding Wire which is a great site for managing everything wedding related...including timelines. The first thing that popped up on our new wedding wire homepage was "297 days till your wedding". OMG - - - I really am getting married...in less than a year...aren't I? This planning business isn't just for fun, is it? Oh BOY!

There were a series of thoughts running through my head - the most prevalent of them being - - - when did I last see my trainer at the gym? How do get in shape so I can look stunning in 297 days?

I need a regimented exercise and diet plan. I need to loose at least 15 pounds...minimum. If there is one event to seriously commit to eating boring food and screaming of pain the day after the gym, it's this event! So, I am going to see my trainer this week when I get back to Chicago (i'm in Raleigh - again). Whew...at least I have a trainer...that's step 1.

Then I remembered what Vanti (Saurab's cousin who got married in July) told me....she said that the six pack abs she was sporting during her wedding was from hula hooping. I quickly called her trainer, Pam of HOOLALA HOOPS ,  who makes these weighted hula hoops...and am crossing my fingers. I haven't hula hooped since the 5th grade. This should be FUN! See how much fun this girl is having - and look at her abs!!! Bring on the hoola...



I'll need more than just a hoola hoop though. Any of you have a workout and diet regimen that you believe in, that you've seen results for? I should just go back to doing Tango 4 times a week...but well, that's got it's own challenges right now with my crazy work schedule! If you guys have ideas...let me know.
